How do I post to my wordpress blog from my desktop, without 3rd party software?

Hi,

I wish to post without delay to my wordpress blog from my desktop, privately from Command prompt.

I know there is the custom called xml-rpc, though which is of no assistance to me, as we do not know what upon earth it is. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The only way I could think of, and it’s not strictly command line, is a LYNX browser – which is a text browser that you call from the command prompt. Google Lynx for windows – if that’s what you have. It was originally for Unix and ported to Windows.
