Can you really gain profit out of a Ebay Business? With ebay fees etc?

I was meditative of startin the ebay commercial operation though do not know what to sell.
I have entrance to cash&carry etc.
Though we only sole something for £90 upon ebay as well as got charged £8 fee!?
Is it value it?
